Melissa Lichtenberger, a compassionate therapist at Bloom, specializing in anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.

Melissa Lichtenberger

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Hi! I’m Melissa, she/her.

You have already taken the courageous first step toward healing by seeking therapeutic support. I would be honored to walk beside you as you continue to grow, heal, and move forward.

Life can feel overwhelming when you are carrying anxiety, trauma, difficult relationships, or the belief that you have to navigate it all alone. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin creating meaningful change.

My goal is to provide a warm and supportive environment, where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and empowered as we work together toward the life you want to build.

Healing does not happen because someone tells you what to do. It happens when you feel safe enough to explore your experiences, understand yourself with greater compassion, and practice new ways of responding to life’s challenges.

I believe every person is valuable and valid, and I am committed to creating a space where you feel seen and heard. I am skilled in working with individuals from all backgrounds, including those identifying with any sexuality, gender, race, or faith.

I am a licensed mental health therapist contracted with Bloom, and I am currently working towards becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp™).

When I’m not spending time with my two daughters and my rescue dog, Nacho, you can find me fossil-hunting, painting, or professionally making cookies.
